About Order3

Inventory software for the people who count, receive, move, and reorder stock.

Order3 helps small and mid-sized teams keep clean records, run fast floor workflows, ask direct questions about inventory, and use AI agents to prepare work without taking control.

Everything below describes how we work and what we are building, not customer counts, funding rounds, or marketing claims we cannot back.

Why we are building this

We built TradeGecko. The gap it filled is open again.

The gap reopened

We spent a decade building inventory and order management for exactly these teams. TradeGecko was acquired by Intuit, became QuickBooks Commerce, and was later wound down. The gap it filled, between spreadsheets and ERP, is open again. We know it well, so we came back for it.

AI should do the work, not add to it

Most AI software is a chat box bolted onto old workflows, more slop to manage. We think there is a new way to build. Software that does the work itself, reconciles the counts and drafts the POs, and makes the person running it better at the job, with their approval on anything that matters.

Commerce is a craft, and so is this

We love commerce and the people who run it: entrepreneurs, manufacturers, brand owners. Building AI-native software with agents at the core is our version of carving wood, done slowly and by hand for people who do real work. It is also the most fun we have ever had building software.

What AI means in practice

Drafts, not autopilot.

AI in Order3 explains, recommends, and drafts. Agents can answer questions about stock, suggest reorders, and prepare draft purchase orders or count plans, but anything that changes records or commits spend waits for human approval.

Level 0 · Explain

Explain records, movement, and policy context.

Launch
Level 1 · Recommend

Recommend reorders, counts, forecasts, and next actions.

Launch
Level 2 · Draft

Draft purchase orders, invoices, messages, and reconciliation steps.

Launch
Level 3 · Execute reversible

Execute low-risk reversible actions under policy.

Later
Level 4 · Execute with controls

Execute controlled operations with mandates, approvals, and activity history.

Later
Level 5 · Autonomous operator

Broad autonomy is explicitly not part of v1.

Out of scope

How we work

Built with warehouse, shop, and field teams.

We ship weekly, work directly with operators, and treat every reorder mistake or count variance as a product spec.

Start on the floor

Inventory work happens on aisles, trucks, jobsites, and stockrooms, not in admin screens. Order3 is designed for the people doing the counts, not the consultants configuring them.

Truthful records

Every movement has a cause. Every change has a record. Stock, locations, and reorders become questions the team can answer in seconds, not topics someone has to investigate.

AI with context

AI helps prepare reorders, surface low stock, and answer inventory questions, but it works on top of clean records, with traceable reasoning, and with human approval on anything that matters.

About Order3 questions

Who is Order3 for?

Order3 is for small and mid-sized teams that have outgrown spreadsheets but do not want a heavy ERP, including warehouse, retail, construction, medical, manufacturing, field service, and 3PL operations. The product fits best when there are multiple locations, multiple users, or repetitive reorder work that is starting to cost money.

What does AI mean in Order3?

It means the AI works on top of the inventory records, not a separate chat layer. Operators can ask questions about stock, locations, and movements; agents can prepare reorder drafts, surface exceptions, and summarize activity. Today the agents explain, recommend, and draft for approval. Any future execution mode needs clear policies and human review.

Is Order3 a Sortly alternative?

Yes, and an alternative to inFlow, Zoho Inventory, and inventory-by-spreadsheet. Sortly is great for visual catalogs and simple teams. Order3 is the option once a team needs reorder help, multi-location workflows, approval history, and AI-assisted operations across more than one stockroom.

Where is Order3 today?

The core inventory, locations, scanning, alerts, reports, and AI assistant features are live; we are adding integrations, deeper agent workflows, and broader compliance posture as we work alongside operators. Pricing, security claims, and integration coverage are published only when we can stand behind them.
